Icon of St. Andrew the Apostle – 12x16cm

St. Apostle Andrew is called the First-Called because he was the first among the apostles to be called to follow Christ. From an early age, he thirsted for divine truth, and when John the Baptist appeared from Judea, he became one of his disciples. Andrew was standing on the banks of the Jordan when John the Baptist, pointing to Jesus who was passing by, said to the people, “Behold, the Lamb of God!” Hearing these words, Andrew followed the Savior and spent the entire day with Him.
